How Geoffrey Works

From the first conversation to the Sunday Briefing, here is what it looks like to hand your household over.

Your Geoffrey journey

Six steps from the first conversation to a household that runs without you.

Request an invitation

Geoffrey is invitation-only, and every neighborhood supports a limited number of member households. Tell us where you are and how your household runs today.

A conversation about your household

Meet a Geoffrey team member and talk through what is currently landing on you, who already helps, and what you would want handled first. We are honest about whether we can serve your neighborhood now or later, and we walk you through pricing for your area.

Meet your House Manager

Meet your House Manager: a Geoffrey employee, matched to your household, vetted and background-checked. We share that vetting with you.

The Household Operations Reset

Two to three weeks with your House Manager, building your household dossier together: family and pets, the home and its build year, warranties, insurance, medical and allergy notes, preferences, existing vendors, and access rules.

Access, entirely on your terms

Grant a digital entry code you can change or revoke at any time, hand over a key, or neither. Many members simply let Geoffrey in when they are home.

Hand off the household

Your House Manager books, coordinates, supervises, inspects, and reports. You approve what matters and stop tracking the rest. The Sunday Briefing keeps the week handled before it starts.

You control access completely

Grant your House Manager a digital entry code you can change or revoke at any time, hand over a key, or neither: many members simply let Geoffrey in when they are home. Access is always your choice, and it can change whenever you want it to.

When a vendor needs to get in, they receive a time-bound credential for that visit alone, and every entry is logged. Your access rules live in your household dossier, where your House Manager and their backup can honor them without you having to repeat yourself.

The Sunday Briefing

Every Sunday, a short brief on the week ahead: what is scheduled, who is coming and when, what needs a decision from you, household updates, seasonal recommendations, and maintenance coming due. The week is handled before it starts.

Your House Manager, always available

One person, one thread. Ask for an outcome and it is owned from that moment until it is finished.

Message, call, or text

Reach your House Manager the way you already communicate. Most requests are acknowledged within minutes, and you never explain your household twice.

24/7 emergency line

Burst pipe at 2 AM? Geoffrey coordinates emergency vendors immediately, gets someone to the house, and handles it while you sleep.

Proactive updates

Confirmations, arrival windows, completion reports, and quality checks arrive without you asking. No chasing, and no wondering whether it happened.

What your House Manager does

Not a list of services. A person who is accountable for the whole operation.

Handled for you

Your House Manager coordinates every service, vendor, and visit. They find the right person, book them, meet them, supervise the work, inspect it, and tell you it is done.

Always a message away

One person, one thread, in plain language. Ask for an outcome rather than a task, and it is owned from that moment until it is finished.

The Sunday Briefing

Every Sunday, a short brief on the week ahead: what is scheduled, what needs a decision from you, household updates, and seasonal recommendations.

Remembered forever

Your household's preferences, vendors, warranties, and routines live in your Geoffrey dossier, so you are never hostage to one person's memory.

What happens when your House Manager is away

Nothing that you have to manage. Your household dossier lives in Geoffrey's system rather than in one person's head, and your House Manager works alongside neighboring House Managers who can cover for them. When someone covers, you are told who and for how long, their access is time-bound, and your open requests move with them. You never restart a conversation, and you are never hostage to one person's brain.
