When you book a service through Geoffrey, someone enters your home. That trust is not something we take lightly. Every vendor on our platform goes through a rigorous, multi-step vetting process before they ever step foot in a resident's home.

Our Vetting Process

Background Checks

Every vendor undergoes a comprehensive background check covering criminal history, identity verification, and sex offender registry screening.

License and Insurance Verification

We verify all professional licenses, certifications, and insurance coverage. Vendors must maintain active liability insurance and we re-verify quarterly.

Skills Assessment

Vendors complete a practical skills assessment relevant to their service category. For cleaners, this means a supervised cleaning session. For handymen, a hands-on repair evaluation.

Reference Checks

We contact previous clients and employers to verify work quality, reliability, and professionalism.

Ongoing Quality

Vetting does not stop at onboarding. Every completed job is followed by a quality inspection and resident feedback review. Vendors who fall below our standards are removed from the platform.
